As you may already know, The Champ Car World Series will be making a spectacular return to Circuit Mont-Tremblant on June 29-30th and July 1st, 2007.
This weekend promises to be fun-filled and exciting with many events taking place including a major fireworks display and a show put on by the Cirque du Soleil.
For drivers like Paul Tracy and Alex Tagliani this will be a return to racing at Circuit Mont Tremblant, for many of the other drivers this will be their first chance to experience the circuit and the hospitality of the Mont Tremblant region.
Our goal is to promote an event which includes car clubs, driving and racing enthusiast alike to join us and help develop this event into a major sport and automotive festival. We are already in discussions with the community, chamber of commerce and surrounding, restaurant and hotels to be part of this event, so even if you do not plan on attending the race, there will still be plenty of excitement, activities and shows throughout area. As this is the first year, we are inviting your club to help kick off the inaugural event and help build it into a major automotive festival, in addition to the activities at the track, with car shows, parades, rallies, displays, buy & sell markets, etc...
A great example of our vision is to replicate the historic race event held in Monterey , CA , which each year draws car enthusiast from across America . That event has grown beyond the historic race to become an annual gathering where members get together, socialize and enjoy the common passion they share for their automobiles.
We are most interested to hear from your club and any suggestions you have to make this event worth attending and participating in.
We hope to see you at track this summer and to make the event part of your clubs activities for 2007.
